Is currently the head coach and coordinator of Aelita RG club with a High Performance coach and Advanced Silver judge accreditation. She has received several awards the highlight being the 2014 National Levels coach of year. Ksenia started her gymnastics career in Russia, as a gymnast and has taken a great love to the sport ever since. Kira has been involved in the rhythmic community for more than 10 years, as both a gymnast and a coach. Having successfully represented both South Australia and Australia in rhythmic gymnastics, Kira loves being able to pass on her love and knowledge of the beautiful sport to young aspiring gymnasts.

Aelita RG Judge
Ashleigh is a current Level 10 gymnast, Advanced Silver Judge and Intermediate Coach. She began Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of 2, started coaching at 12 years and judging at 16 years. As a gymnast, Ashleigh has represented South Australia in both elite and national streams at 7 Australian National Championships. In 2016, Ashleigh judged for South Australia at the Australian National Championships in Melbourne and was nominated for Gymnastics South Australian Judge of the Year in 2016 and 2018.

Ballet and Body work teacher
Elda has been a dance teacher and Rhythmic gymnastic coach for over 12 years. She has a love and passion for the performing arts and teaching children. Some of Elda's performance history is being a dancer with the Tasmanian Classical Ballet Company, dancing for Ding Productions, being a back up dancer for David Campbell, Wink and Smile shows and in 2010 Elda was in the top 100 of Australia's 'So You Think You Can Dance'.

Kate Johnson Aelita RG coach

Kate started her coaching career by helping out at her local club at age 13. She was a rhythmic gymnast from the age of 6 who competed at state and national level. The height of Kate’s coaching career leads her to be the Head Coach of the Gymnastics SA High Rhythmic Performance Program; she has also been awarded the Gymnastics SA Coach of the Year award on numerous occasions and is a Gymnastics SA Life Member. Kate was the founding coach at Venia GymSports and during her time at Venia coached rhythmic, cheerleading at Kindergym. Throughout that time Kate attended international tours with gymnasts competing both for Australia or the club. Kate has worked with high level gymnasts for over 10 years and look forward to doing so in the future at Aelita Rhythmic Gymnastics. Kate is also a qualified gymnastics judge and spends her daytimes working as a Junior Primary School Teaсher.


Persia Janzen

Ballet and Body work teacher
Persia Janzen has studied jazz, tap, ballet and contemporary since she was two years old. She is also currently very involved in the circus arts with an emphasis on Hooping and aerial silks. Persia has travelled to Asia to perform in the ‘Young Stars Circus’, starred in several Adelaide Fringe shows with CircoBats and Vertical Insanity Circus, is a junior member of the Australian Dance Theatre and has danced in the ‘Post Cards’ extravaganza at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Show. Persia completed her year 12 SACE Dance in year 10 receiving an ‘A’ and has also completed her Certificate 3 in Dance. Persia has a strong passion for teaching and passing on her knowledge and strives herself in assisting her students to achieve their goals.

Lera Nazarenko Level 3-4 coach

Beginning her career as a rhythmic gymnast, Lera graduated from the Vladivostok school of sport in Russia. She has also been actively involved in the show-ballet "Turbulence". Currently, an active member of Aelita Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, she is dedicated to providing young gymnasts with the opportunity to develop musicality, elegance and flexibility - all skills that can be gained through participating in the sport!


Britt is currently a level 10 gymnast, Advance Silver coach, Advance Judge and accredited Kindergym Leader. She has competed in both the elite and national streams, having competed at the last 14 consecutive National Championships.  Britt was awarded Gymnastics South Australia Volunteer of the Year in 2014 and Judge of the Year in 2015 for her work creating and maintaining the scoring program used at all SA RG competitions.

My name is Olivia Watts and I am originally from New Zealand. I trained in Rhythmic gymnastics at Olympia in Christchurch New Zealand and finished my gymnastics career in 2007, as a senior gymnast in group, after competing for New Zealand in world cups around the world. I have since moved into circus performing and coaching. I completed a bachelor of circus arts in Melbourne recently while coaching RG at Prahran Rhythmic gymnastics centre where I was a coach for 6 years. I am an advanced accredited level coach and an intermediate bronze level judge. I have recently moved to Adelaide and am excited to work with the lovely gymnasts at Aelita.

Tatiana Bailes Ballet Teacher

Tatiana was born in Moscow and studied classical dance and folk dance with the famous Moscow based Pyatnitsky Ensemble.

Tatiana qualified with distinction for her Diploma of Dancing and became a full time professional dancer with the Ensemble.

As a professional dancer Tatiana toured around the world. Since her arrival in Australia Tatiana has been a dance teacher.

At the present time Tatiana is involved with the Aelita Rhythmic Gymnastic Club as a classical ballet teacher.

Tatiana would like to pass on her professional knowledge to her talented ,young students to become successful gymnasts.
